The Atlanta Science Festival (ASF) is an annual two-week festival held in Atlanta, Georgia celebrating local science and technology feats and educating the youth on STEM opportunities and possibilities. The challenge was to create an animated video for their social media about any STEM topic of choice that will encourage viewers to attend the festival. My topic was on Women in STEM. My process was utilizing only ASF’s brand elements, including their typeface, color scheme, and character mascot, Alex the Astronaut. The goal was to be as informative about Women in STEM as possible, while delivering information through simplified, appealing characters and seamless transitions.
