The Atlanta Science Festival (ASF) is an annual two-week festival held in Atlanta, Georgia celebrating local science and technology feats and educating the youth on STEM opportunities and possibilities. Georgia State University partnered with ASF with a project for their students. The challenge was 1) to be informative about the realities of women in STEM and 2) encourage attendance. My topic was Women in STEM. My process was utilizing on-brand elements, including their typeface, color scheme, and character mascot, Alex the Astronaut.
