The Type Specimen Booklet is a square booklet designed to showcase a specific typeface and its properties, while discussing a topic of choice. In this case, the typeface I picked is Meta Pro, and the topic is on introversion: what it is and its misconceptions. The challenge was to use the typeface and experiment with negative space in creative, non-conventional ways that best illustrate the topic on each page. The solution was using smaller type and lots of negative space to simulate the introverted temperament, and bold, expressive type and little negative space when discussing extroverts and how overwhelmed introverts can be.
